(Sorry, I couldn't get the picture turned the other way)
Potty Training is not an easy thing, but I did finally find a few things that has helped Cameron along the way. I was getting really tired of washing out his pants, so I decided to have him help me. I think he started to understand that it really was faster to take a break from playing and go potty in the toilet instead of going in his pants, washing them out and then having to take a bath (he has never really been too fond of baths). We also found a treasure box full of surprises to be a good thing. Candy wasn't doing the trick, he didn't really care about that - we had to move to star war figurines. He was able to choose a surprise once he filled his sticker chart up.
I think Cameron has got it down now (except for at night I still put a diaper on him - although he did wake up dry this morning). It seems like it has been a long road - we tried a while ago, but then we moved, had a baby, then he got sick and wasn't able to control when he went potty. It seemed like our efforts went down the drain, but we just needed to re-focus and be consistent. We finally had the time and the determination to really focus on it starting in probably January. I tried to stay close to home for about a good week until he had it pretty much down. I did have to take him potty every 20 minutes and then was able to gradually stretch the time out. Now come May I don't really have to ask him to go potty unless we are going somewhere then I just make sure he goes potty before we get in the car and then when we get to our destination I make sure I know where the bathroom is, because when he does tell be he has to GO, he usually doesn't give me a whole lot of notice! Yea! only one child in diapers - at least for a little while!

It's a hard road, but so rewarding when you don't have to worry about it anymore. Congrats to both you and Cameron.
