Courtney has brought such a sweet spirit into our home and family. Cameron has realized she is here to stay and has also grown quite fond of her. He really is stepping into the role of being a big brother by protecting her. My little nephew Logan is 1 years old and loves being right up close to Courtney, touching her and giving her loves. Whenever Cameron sees him coming, he comes running to make sure his little sister is ok and is not being attacked.
We really have come a long way. We have gone from Cameron saying, "Please put sister down" to "Is sister awake yet?" However, when he said this he wanted to pop a balloon and I told him he couldn't until Courtney woke up. So... I guess he decided to go up to her room and give her a little help, then came to me saying, "Mom, she's awake and is crying, she needs you!" I then said, "Did somebody wake her up?" His reply was, "Ya, me!" You have gotta love the honesty these kids have.
