Cameron's Other Halloween Costume!

Bumblee - Cam

Halloween 2010

Carving Pumkins!

Our friendly little lion.  Cameron wore this for Halloween when he was 1 years old!

Courtney has been so into Elmo and wanted to wear her costume almost every day leading up to Halloween!.  Our big boy Cameron kept changing his mind of what he wanted to be up until the day.  He had been so into Transformers and loved Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee, so we ordered those costumes.  When it came time for him to dress up for his party at preschool and for Halloween night he was determined to be Indiana Jones!

In awe over the great yummy treats!

Just decided to bring the garbage can right next to Courtney for easy access and disposal of wrappers after devouring the candy!

It was raining before, but the weather decided really not to cooperate right at the time we were having the "trunk or treat" over at the church, there was a huge down pour!  We just got back in our car and went up to Grandma & Grandpa Peterson's to visit and to obtain shelter! After about 40 min. it cleared up and was just sprinkling lightly.  We looked outside and saw this beautiful rainbow that stretched across the entire sky!  Courtney loved looking and pointing at it saying, "Wow, beautiful rainbow"!

Courtney's 2nd Birthday! (Oct. 15, 2010)

Birthday Morning
Dad woke Courtney up before he had to go to work to give her a big Birthday squeeze and so we could all sing to her and let her open her presents in the morning so she could play with them during the day!

She loved her little baby stroller and pushed it around everywhere.  We went for a couple walks outside that day throughout the next couple of weeks until it got too cold.  Courtney pushed her baby and I pushed my little Carsey Boy while Cam rode his bike.  Our venture to walk down to the mail box and get the mail each day.  We all got quite a workout coming back up the hill!

That evening we met up with Mike and JaLaine and their family and Grandma & Grandpa Peterson.  It was really warm the day before but the weather decided to change and was a little windy and chilly on her Birthday.  We still decided to meet up at the park anyway.  Courtney and Michaela have always had a cute little bond, she sure loves her cousin!

Courtney would eat on the run or I guess I should say on the "swing"

Our little Courtney is sure a special little girl, we are sure glad she is apart of our family!  She is very dynamic, full of expression and excitement and brings life to each day.  We Love you Court!

"Oh, Heavenly Father...."

The bedtime routine is always very entertaining (if you have the time & patience) while putting Cameron to sleep. You never know what he is going to say, but he usually becomes quite the chatter box as he tries to stall and drag bedtime out longer.

Tonight he was quite distraut before going to bed because Dad had got an Indiana Jones lego set off e-bay.  It is one they do not make anymore with the "arc" in it.  Supossedly it was a used set, but all the pieces were supposed to be there.  Cameron wanted to make the arc but we couldn't find the pieces.  We told him the boy who had it before must have lost it and we would just have to make it out of different pieces.  Of course that did not fly with Cam, he said no, we need it to be the same as in the picture - can't you just order another arc on the computer.  Well after quite a lengthy disscussion we were ready for bed and saying prayers.  In the middle of his prayer this is what transpired.... "Oh, I have to tell you something Heavenly Father (I had to open my eyes and peek, he was carrying on a conversation just like he would with anyone else and really talking to Heavenly Father), can you go to that boys house and look everywhere for the arc pieces.  When you find them come to my house, open  the door, come in and bring them to me, I really need them.  If you can't find it at that boys house then look at another one until you find them."  After finishing his sincere and heartfelt prayer he said, " Mom, so did Heavenly Father hear my prayer, is he looking at that boys house right now?"  I told him that Heavenly Father always hears our prayer he just may not answer them right away or in the way we would like." He then responded "so then will he look for the pieces in the morning?" We will have to see how everything comes together!

Distractions!

I was watching the "Transformer" movie with Cam, and was laughing at what I thought was a funny part.  Supposedly Cameron didn't think it was very funny or he thought I was laughing at him and told me, "Mom, stop laughing"  I told him that I liked to laugh and he replied, "It distracts me, I guess I will just have to cover my ears!"

"Princess-rella"

You can tell we haven't been used to having girl things around the house - Cameron asked for a "cars" fruit snack, I told them they were all gone so he said, "then can I have a preincess-rella one?"

Courtney, Where Do Your Sock Keep Dissapearing To?

Here they are mom!

Courtney always wakes up from her nap with her socks off, I have wondered where they all end up.   This particular day her shirt was a little bulgy and this is what we discovered!

I soon realized taking off socks was nothing compared to the new phase we are going through - now whenever I hear "Mom, diaper"  I go running because I am tired of washing her bed sheets!  We have had to pin her pj's under the zipper so that she doesn't un-zip it and then take her diaper off.  She always acts so innocent when I go in - handing me her diaper saying "dirty mom, dirty"

Field trip to the Krishna Temple with Cameron's Preschool Class!

Cameron loved exploring and seeing all the different animals, this beautiful peacock kept showing off his amazing feathers!

The kids were able to feed the llama's, walk them around with a lead rope and RIDE them!!

The llama's were very friendly and gentle and this one was a bit stubborn.  Cameron couldn't believe how hungry this big guy must have been, he didn't want to walk around or play, he just wanted to graze on the grass.

Between Cameron and a few of the other kids the llama's all had names - Meet Snowflake!

This one recieved the grand name of "66" (I think he had a 6 on his collar).  We had a great time at the llama farm.  I was so glad Grandma Peterson was able to watch Courtney and Carson so that I could spend some time with Cameron and be a "helper".  Cameron was pretty excited and introduced me to his little preschool friends.   I haven't always got to be apart of these things with the other two little ones needing me at home.  Fun Memories!

Mother's Day!

These are the moments that a mother always cherishes!  Carson is my little cuddle bug - Courtney is my little ball of energy and excitement and Cameron still likes to be mom's little boy with his hugs and kisses and melt my heart with his sweet comments!

Cameron was so excited to have me open the gift he made for me in preschool, he brought it home from school and then counted down each day till mother's day. It felt like Christmas as he came running in my room early in the morning exclaiming "Mom, it's mother's day - you get to open your present" It was a cute wooden flower that he painted (the center of the flower was a picture photograph of him) with a a clip on the back to hold a recipe card up for easy reading while preparing the food!

I am so grateful to be a mother! As the day's go on I truely gain a greater appreciation for my own mother and all of the hard work and dedication she gave and continues to give!

We went on a hike up to Grandma and Grandpa Peterson's
